On October 18,2006 something incredible happened: Walter Price and Runi Goyal became Key West Innkepers.
Like all locals living in Key West, everyone has a story. Walter worked successfully as an engineer for years. He decided to retire early, buy some property in the Florida Keys, scuba dive and hang out. Runi, also an engineer, left the office world behind to pursue a career in filmmaking, scuba diving and to also buy real estate. Neither of them ever thought they would become Innkeepers, nor did they think they could do it themselves.
They brought on Dan Boutin -- a well known and respected Key West guest house manager and all-around good guy to run Rose Lane Villas. Formerly called the Eaton Lodge Guest Villas, the Rose Lane Villas have been improved, redecorated, and redone in every way to better suit your needs.
We wanted a place that we would stay at ourselves. As seasoned world travelers, we know what’s important to our guests. We strive to create the perfect environment for families, groups, and honeymooners to RELAX. With the convenience of fully equipped kitchens, TVs in every room, pool, parking and a welcome basket to start your vacation off with, Rose Lane Villas really is your “home away from home.” Not to mention, being a lover of film and of the “free world,” Runi has made sure to offer free DVD rentals and free wireless Internet. Like a good book you can get at the public library, movies should be shared and enjoyed and the Internet should be free anyway. Period.
